Hello
My name is Tyler Goldstein. I am an architecture student at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning, working to be a licensed architect. In addition to school, I currently work as a Consultant / Architectural Drafter for Sutter Architects based in Long Island, NY.
My Story
Throughout my life, I have been deeply passionate about art, problem-solving, and creating solutions. Architecture became the natural choice for me because it seamlessly combines all of these interests into one discipline. I am currently pursuing my education at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning, where I am honing my skills in architectural thinking, problem-solving, drawing production, media creation, model making, and time management.
Beyond my academic journey, I work as a consultant for Sutter Architects, led by licensed architect Philip J. Sutter. At Sutter Architects, I have had the privilege of contributing to a wide range of architectural projects, from small residential renovations to the development of new apartment buildings. This experience has given me invaluable exposure to the entire architectural process: conducting zoning analyses, creating conceptual and construction documents, meeting with clients, visiting building departments, attending board hearings, collaborating with engineers, and visiting active job sites.
These experiences have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the architecture profession and reinforced my determination to succeed. I am committed to continuing my hard work, growing as a designer and problem solver, and achieving my goal of becoming a licensed architect in the state of New York.
